• December 15, 2019 was Hundertwasser's 91st birthday.
• Hundertwasser is synonymous with environmental protection and ecology.
• More than 100,000 visitors to Hundertwasser's KunstHausWien in 2019, without any application or events related to Hundertwasser.
• In December 1984, Hundertwasser took part in the campaign to save the river meadows in Hainburg. He also dedicated the poster to the movement "Free nature is our freedom".
• In December 1983, the United Nations Postal Administration organized a stamp issue to mark the 35th anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. At the request of the Secretary-General of the United Nations, Hundertwasser designed these 6 stamps for the United Nations in New York, Vienna and Geneva.
• In December 1977, Mayor Leopold Gratz invited Hundertwasser to realize a residential building for the city of Vienna, after his idea of an eco-architecture with wooded roofs.
• In December 1990, Hundertwasser presented his designs for the Austrian environmental sign commissioned by Environment Minister Marilies Flemming. To date, around 1,100 licenses have been issued for the austrian environmental sign.
