With the Vienna Culture Alderman, Dr. Helmut Zilk, acting as a go-between, Hundertwasser was invited by the Directors of the IGA ´83 (IV. Internationale Gartenbauausstellung IGA / International Garden Show) in Munich to propose a poster design and submit one of his ideas about architecture more fiting to man and nature. (see also APA 34)Hundertwasser wrote the manifesto "Concrete Utopias for the Geen City" and realised the installation of tree-tenants in Ganghoferstraße 86 in Munich on July 26, 1983The High-rise Meadow House was realised in concrete, wood, glass and vegetation on the occasion of the IGA , April 28 - October 9, 1983. Since then it can be visited at Westpark in Munich. In 2008 it was restored on the occasion of the 25 anniversary of Westpark.
