Hundertwasser lives on in his works, his architecture, his philosophy - and each day thousands of people experience his message of beauty in harmony with nature.
The photo shows Hundertwasser in his studio in the Spiegelgasse (Vienna), where he had many plants.
He noted: The plant world is our teacher. If we humans would take on only a little from the realm of flora, many human problems would be solved. Its slow-motion growth, being rooted to one place, utilisation of sunlight, hibernation, the incredible ramification, adaption, the ability to wait: that is just a tiny bit that just occurs to me now.
