Visitors can explore the artistic and architectural legacy in Germany in photographs, videos, reproductions and documentary material.
Starting with the life of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, the project presents around a dozen of Hundertwasser's building projects in the central section on around 20 large-format text panels, some of which have become real crowd-pullers, as well as plans for a wide variety of architectural projects that never reached the realisation stage.
The exhibition also documents Hundertwasser's artistic motivation, his environmental campaigns, manifestos and posters on further panels and in the video lounge (including Hundertwasser in the programme ‘Make a Wish’, 1984), which give the environmental activist a new appearance in the current context of the worsening global environmental and climate crisis.
