At the end of the 1960s, Hundertwasser began to work in silk screen printing.
Hundertwasser was a precursor in the development of new techniques and the use of new materials. Already in the first serigraphs he used metal foil embossing and fluorescent colors.

In the years 1969 to 1971 his first print edition was created, which consists of many color versions and variants that are part of the entire edition and were not numbered as a separate edition.
The Italian studio Quattro printed 10,000 copies of the graphic 686 Good Morning City and 686 Good Morning City - Bleeding Town in a total of 50 color variants of 200 pieces each.
