Hundertwasser's comment on the work
This is a fantasy on the Australian flag I designed (see 876). People always think the stars and the sky have to be above the mountains. In Australia, the "land down under", where, as in New Zealand, the antipodes live, it is exactly the opposite: the sky and stars are below, or rather, from a global-extraterrestrial viewpoint, there is no above and below.
