Hundertwasser's comment on the work
A religious picture with transformed religious associations or a kind of pantheistic symbolism? I would have trouble saying which religion I like best. There are also so many beautiful women: all of them have something wonderfully divine about them. I am convinced that painting is a religious activity and that through true creativity we come closer to Creation, whose manifestation we have around us in every leaf and every beetle.
