Hundertwasser's comment on the work
The largest painting I painted on the Regentag, in the middle of the Pacific in rough waters. I got seasick while painting it and had to interrupt work. I had to lie down in my cabin and couldn't do anything. Thank heavens there were two other seamen on board, Heinz Wächter and Andrew Fagan. The painting "Rübezahl" was dimensioned such that it fit precisely under my cabin bunk. I had designed an extendable, folding table, similar to those in Tyrolian farmhouses.
