Hundertwasser's comment on the work
Again and again gardens with fences around them (see also 118). Perhaps it was the workers-allotment gardens of my youth in the "Schmelz" district of Vienna, which were unattainable to me; protected nature; the " acquisitions to liberate nature" I practised later.
