Hundertwasser's comment on the work

There are already two forgeries of this one, and there have been several law suits, which were made very difficult because the forgers had already died and the collectors had purchased the pictures in good faith. My pictures are not forged often, in contrast to those by other painters, e.g., Picasso, because my mixed technique was too complicated to imitate and no forger can master the "responsible" way of drawing a line, since this has to come from the heart and cannot be imitated.
