Watercolour on wrapping paper, primed with chalk, zinc white and fish glue or Casearti; mounted on canvas and varnished without the artist's knowledge.
This painting was in commission at the Galleria Obelisco, Rome, in August, 1954 for Lit. 35.000,-. It went into the possession of Carlo Cardazzo in February, 1955, to cover the expenses of the Exhibition at the Galleria del Naviglio.
Gift of Mr. and Mrs. Jerome L. Stern, New York, to American Friends of the Israel Museum, Jerusalem.
