Hundertwasser read out the manifesto in January 1960 at the Galerie Quatre Saisons as a participant in the Anti-Procès organised by Alain Jouffroy. The original text was lost and was reconstructed by Hundertwasser in 1975 for the catalogue of the exhibition at the Musée d'Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris.
