The fountain comprises five parts placed one on top of the other:
1. a concrete basin,
2. a ceramic basin with matte white, black and grey portions,
3. a concrete-casting basin,
4. a smaller pink ceramic basin and
5. a concrete-casting angel on top.
The model is the classical Roman fountain (from: Hundertwasser Architecture, Cologne, 1997, p. 280)
The signs of the zodiac are inlayed into the bottom of the fountain in mosaic.
