500, signed and numbered 1-500/500
This object based on the architectural design of the KunstHausWien is made of wood, acrylic glass, cardboard, stucco, ceramic and is painted with watercolours. It was executed according to Hundertwasser's design by Alfred Schmid, Klosterneuburg, and Andreas Bodi, Maria Enzersdorf, in an edition of 500 pieces.
It shows a façade, which is not perfectly straight and flat, but uneven and interrupted by irregular mosaics. A irregular checkerboard pattern signals the disbanding of the gird system. For Hundertwasser windows are a bridge between inside and outside. The windows are an equivalent of the eyes.
